Mollart-Cox Products Limited will be the exclusive distributor of Ohio Tool Works line of horizontal and vertical production honing equipment, tooling, vitrified and metalbond abrasive products, filtration, lubricants and related products for industrial honing applications. Aggressive Product Development for 2010 Having successfully completed the move to our new, state of the art facility, our sights are set on development of new products in 2010. The engineering staff at OTW is busy with numerous projects including a new, multi-range, light duty tool system designed to utilize our popular OH500 and OH700 series abrasive assemblies. The new tool system will be designed to cover a wide range of diameters and will be adaptive to horizontal and vertical machines as well as hand-held drives. The new tool system will be competitively priced and provide a frame much more rugged than that of our nearest competitor. Along with new offerings in the area of "economy" horizontal and vertical equipment, Ohio Tool Works is looking at 2010 as a breakout year in the area of product development. 2009Ohio Tool Works Corporation is Excited to Announce the Opening of Our New Facility in Ashland, Ohio
The owners and management of Ohio Tool Works Corporation are excited to announce the opening of our new, 52,000 foot facility in Ashland, Ohio. The new facility, at 1374 Enterprise Parkway in Ashland is located 3-miles west of our present location. This structure will more than double the size of our manufacturing operation while providing space for our engineering and administrative staff. We anticipate beginning this process in mid-May with completion by July 1st of this year. We invite all our loyal customers, suppliers and friends to visit us at the new facility.
Ohio Tool Works Introduces New OTW-1000 Series Horizontal Honing Machine
Ohio Tool Works introduces the model OTW-1000 series horizontal honing machine to its line of production horizontal and vertical platforms. The medium duty OTW-1000 is available in a variety of standard stroke configurations from 2M (6.6’) thru 6M (20’) with spindle drive offerings to 10HP (7,46Kw). Infinitely variable spindle speed packages to 1000 RPM provide for efficient processing using both conventional vitrified and metalbond superabrasives. Designed for flexibility, the model 1000 will process parts using the OTW line of heavy-duty tooling as well as lighter design tool systems of other manufacturers. For customers with products calling for precise and consistent size control, the optional Medium Size Control System offers accurate and dependable size control to 0.0005” or better when metalbond abrasives are applied. This system can be integrated to our user friendly, touch screen control allowing the operator the option of running multiple machines or other secondary tasks. The heavy, welded steel construction of the model 1000 provides the rigidity required for precise bore sizing at a price point competitive with manufacturers of lighter equipment. The servo drive reciprocation system and variable speed spindle drives offer smooth, quiet and trouble free operation under the most severe conditions. The model OTW-1000, along with the larger model OTW-5000 will be featured at the 2009 Houstex Advanced Productivity Exposition, February 24-26 in Houston, TX. Each year, Honing Incorporated, a division of Texas Iron Works, selects one customer and one vendor to win an annual award. Mr. Gary Jordan of Honing Incorporated presented the award to co-owners Randy Iselt and John Hovsepian of Ohio Tool Works. The company received two plaques and was recognized in front of Honing Incorporated’s top management for being one of their valued vendors. Honing Incorporated receives a substantial portion of their honing requirements from Ohio Tool Works, including a new large capacity horizontal honing machine that was installed prior to the ceremony Houston, which greatly increased Honing Incorporated’s capacity to process long parts. |
